The Distribution Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue by leading a team who can identify, pursue, and sign dealers from target industries and key markets. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in developing strategies, driving brand growth, and expanding market reach.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute comprehensive distribution strategies to achieve sales targets and grow market share
- Lead and manage a team responsible for account management and business development
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and business owners of prospective dealers
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations, presentations, and proposals to prospective leads
- Lead negotiations, margin discussions, and identify win-win solutions for the company and the dealers
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to adapt and refine sales strategies
- Work closely with other teams to ensure high level of service to dealers
- Ensure that the sales team and dealers are advised properly of pricing policies, promotions, and SOPs
- Track and report on sales performance metrics, forecasts, and pipeline management to data-informed business decisions
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years minimum in a leadership role
- Proven experience in distribution or B2B sales for a portfolio of brands
- Graduate of any 4-year Bachelor’s Degree, preferably business, marketing, or engineering
- Highly analytical and has strong business acumen
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with sales analytics tools
