JOB SUMMARY: Procurement Officer is responsible for the purchasing process within an organization, ensuring that goods and services are procured at the best possible prices, quality and within required timelines. This role involves managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, sourcing new suppliers and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The procurement officer works closely with other department to identify needs and manage the flow of supplies, materials and services
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify potential suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions with suppliers
- Monitor and track orders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Manage procurement contracts and ensure compliance
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
- Work closely with internal departments to understand their procurement needs.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Generate reports on procurement activities, costs, and savings.
- Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and minimize opportunity loss
- Provide regular updates to management on procurement status.
- Oversee procurement team members
- Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4 years of experience in procurement is required.
- At least 1 year in a leadership role
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple task and meet deadlines
- Analytical and problem-solving activities
- ERP familiarization is an advantage (SAP, Oracle and etc.)
- Graduate of Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
