JOB SUMMARY: The IT Specialist will be responsible for managing internet infrastructure across multiple locations, and addressing all IT needs of the company, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, procuring IT equipment, and managing our chat and email system (Microsoft Business). Additionally, when IT tasks are limited, the specialist will support the operations department with various administrative tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide comprehensive IT support, manage asset inventory, and enforce IT policies and best practices, including SAP B1 integration when necessary.
- Manage and optimize internet connectivity and network performance across multiple locations, including troubleshooting and coordinating with service providers.
- Administer and manage backend and front-end aspects of our Microsoft 365 subscription. Configure and maintain user accounts, licenses, and security settings. Provide support and training to employees on Microsoft 365 tools and features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and POS issues; provide technical support through various channels and maintain detailed records in the IT helpdesk system.
- Procure, deliver, install, and set up IT devices while managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Knowledge of network management and internet infrastructure.
2. 3+ years of experience in IT support or administration, preferably in a retail environment.
3. Proficiency in managing Microsoft 365 environments.
4. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
5. Strong troubleshooting skills for both software and hardware issues.
6. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
